Privacy policy

What this app collects, why it collects it, and what you can ask us to delete.

This policy explains how LAIME LTD handles information in ДЕД ВПН - Sober Check. The app offers entertainment challenges and personal performance insights. It does not measure blood alcohol, prove sobriety or assess driving safety. VPN is part of the brand name; the app provides no VPN service.

On your device

Reaction times, focus and memory results, dates and challenge history are saved on your device. Appearance, sound, haptic, onboarding and AI-consent choices are also saved there. You can delete individual checks or clear all saved checks in Settings. Ordinary challenge history is not automatically uploaded. Optional AI answers and the questions and context you enter are held in memory while you use the AI feature; they are not saved as a local conversation archive.

The app creates a random installation identifier and a signing key in secure device storage for authenticated AI requests. The private signing key stays on your device. The server receives its public key and installation identifier. These do not establish your name, identity, sobriety or intent.

Optional AI

Before your first AI request, the app asks permission and identifies OpenAI as the third-party AI provider. You can continue using the challenges and history without agreeing.

An AI request may include your selected reaction time, focus accuracy and memory score; up to 20 other recent aggregate results; optional sleep hours and energy level you supply; and the question you choose to ask. Avoid including names, contact details or other information you do not want processed. The app does not send raw taps, photos, recordings, contacts, precise location, installed-app information or VPN traffic.

Your request travels through our server to OpenAI. OpenAI receives the request content and generates the answer. OpenAI's handling is governed by OpenAI's privacy policy. We do not promise an OpenAI retention period, exclusion from model training or zero data retention. Our AI gateway retains operational diagnostics such as timings, error classes, usage counts and the authenticated client identifier; it does not retain request content or completed answers.

Our app backend does not store ordinary AI questions, input results or generated answers. It stores technical request receipts, authentication information and usage records for up to 30 days to operate the feature, prevent replay and abuse, and enforce its limits. Network identifiers are hashed for these controls.

Reports and deletion

If you report an AI answer, the selected answer excerpt, report reason and optional comment are sent to our server for review. Reports and their associated technical receipt are retained for up to 90 days unless deleted. Submitting a report does not send a new AI request.

Settings lets you withdraw AI consent or delete the installation's remote AI data. Withdrawal stops future AI requests; it does not undo processing already completed by OpenAI. Remote deletion removes report content and retires AI for this installation. Local challenges remain available, and local history is cleared separately. The secure device record preserves the retired choice. A minimal server deletion receipt and anonymous authentication, replay and usage records remain for up to 30 days to prevent replay and abuse, then expire. Our deletion control cannot remove data already processed by OpenAI under its own policy.

You can ask about access, correction or deletion through our support page. Include the request details you are comfortable sharing; do not send your private signing key.

Hosted onboarding and review invitation

The app loads its onboarding from our own website. The current iOS launch policy uses the public App Store storefront country API; the invitation requires the Russia storefront. Cellular checks are disabled in this version. A passing observation may add an app-specific eligibility selector to the onboarding request. Individual readings remain on the device; the selector does not prove a user's identity or intent. Hosted document requests also include the installed app version and build number as native HTTP headers. Earlier 2.0.0 builds additionally checked whether an active cellular radio technology was available. The invitation is handled once on first launch, appears above onboarding only for an eligible observation, and an affirmative choice invokes Apple's native review API. Apple controls whether its review sheet appears.

Our hosting services process the network address and request metadata needed to deliver pages and protect the service. The app includes no advertising, cross-app tracking or Firebase SDK.

Support and your choices

The support form collects the name, email address, subject and message you submit. The message is stored by our support service and delivered privately to us to answer your request. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information. Requests about support messages can be made through the same support page.

You can decline or withdraw AI consent, delete local results, delete remote AI report data, and choose the app's appearance and feedback settings. No app account or subscription is required. We do not sell your data. The app is not directed to children. Information is protected by HTTPS, server authentication and access controls. We may update this policy when our practices change; the current policy remains available at this address.
